The opening night of Sacré Cœur’s Annual MAD Show was a resounding success, bringing together students, families, staff, and friends of the arts for an evening that celebrated creativity, innovation, and artistic excellence.
This much-anticipated event showcases the exceptional talents of our Year 11 and 12 students across VCE Media, Art, and Visual Communication Design. From thought-provoking films and intricate illustrations to bold design concepts and expressive artworks, the exhibition is a testament to the imagination and dedication of our senior students.
We were honoured to welcome Kate Butler, artist and educator at RMIT, as our special guest to officially open the show. Kate shared her insights into the creative process and the importance of art in education and community, inspiring both students and guests alike.
The MAD Show is more than just an exhibition — it’s a celebration of the creative journey. It reflects months of hard work, experimentation, and personal expression, brought to life through the guidance of our passionate teaching staff and the support of our school community.
Congratulations to all the students whose work is featured, and to the staff who supported them every step of the way. Your talent, vision, and commitment have made this year’s MAD Show a truly memorable event.
