Sacré Cœur warmly invites parents and students to attend our upcoming VCE Information Evening on Thursday 24 July at 7:00 PM. This important event is designed to provide current and prospective families with a clear understanding of the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE), including its structure, requirements, and how it supports students in preparing for their future pathways.
Held at our Glen Iris campus, the evening will feature presentations from Deputy Principal Megan Marshall and Director of Learning and Teaching Peter Harrington, who will outline key elements of the VCE journey. Topics will include subject offerings, school-based and external assessments, how study scores are calculated, VTAC scaling, and how the ATAR is determined.
A special highlight of the evening will be a panel of Sacré Cœur alumnae from the Class of 2024, who will share their personal experiences of VCE at our school. Their reflections will offer valuable insights into the challenges and triumphs of the senior years and how they were supported throughout by the Sacré Cœur community.
Whether you are a current family preparing to enter the senior years or a prospective parent exploring options for your daughter’s final years of schooling, this session will provide practical information and first-hand perspectives to help you feel informed and confident about the VCE experience at Sacré Cœur.
We encourage all interested families to attend and take advantage of this opportunity to learn more about how we support our students to thrive academically and personally during this important stage of their education.
