Welcome to Sacré Cœur
Sacré Cœur is a Catholic Independent School with a tremendous community spirit. The School's French heritage draws from the traditions of the Society of the Sacred Heart, the French order which founded the school in 1888.
Our school is a school of many beautiful traditions, but traditions serve little purpose if they only encourage us to look backwards in nostalgia. Rather, from our traditions, we should seek to identify those key truths and principles which have been the underpinnings of this school for over 120 years and indeed the underpinnings of this great Sacred Heart educational tradition for over 200 years. In so doing, our traditions help us in our work in the present and help us plan for the future, for those who are here now and for those children of the Sacred Heart who are yet to arrive here.
