Prep to Year 2
Foundation years
Young children's natural curiosity and desire to learn is captured early to ensure they become lifelong learners. The school experience in the foundational years of Prep, Year 1 and Year 2 is exciting and rewarding, ensuring these students acquire strong skills in literacy and numeracy.
The basis for our beliefs and understandings about learning is that students will achieve their potential by having:

- early intervention for children who are having difficulties
- good classroom teaching focused on the learning needs of children

Specialis teachers in Music, Visual Arts, French, Physical Educaton and Library enable students to become involved in and develop skills in many areas. Classroom music is expanded in Year 2 when the girs are able to participate in a stringed instrument program.
