Faith and Mission

Our charism

The first of the Sacred Heart Goals, "Faith which is Relevant in Today's World', calls for the centrality of faith in our everyday living within the Sacré Cœur community. The Sacred Heart document "Heart of Our God" (Documentary Sources of the Goals) describes the objectives of faith development in Sacred Heart schools as being characterised by:

...an experience of life lived in a community where the life is celebrated sacramentally, and gives meaning and impetus to all we do; where prayer and reflection is experienced as well as honest searching for truth and goodness, and where students are encouraged to share their faith with others" (page 17).

Sacré Cœur provides its students with a wide variety of ways of expressing and responding to the spiritual and faith dimensions of their lives.
